I am back!

Ok, for personal problems I totally abandoned this blog for quite a long time, but now I am back and I will try to get it in shape.

This last few days I got to invitations to join 2 news mmos from Aeria Games (Last Chaos): Shaiya and Dream of Mirror Online (DOMO).

I tested Shaiya first, because it looked interesting: diferent modes to play (from easy to extreme - what means if you die, your char gets deleted), 2 sides to join (like in WoW)...

So I choosed the dark side (of course) and I got 1 of the 3 available professions, female, and I logged in (no many options to make your char, but no bad compared with the rest of play for free mmos I tested so far).

When I logged in, another 4 people did at the same time with the exact same char I got. The look of all seems to make quite a lot like Lineage (they look of the chars, the way the move...). I must say that I didnt play for more than 5 minutes, because it looks to me like another grinding game... Maybe I am wrong, I didn't read much about it. I will try again another time maybe.

After that I went after DOMO. There is a big problem about it so far, about this thing with the Closed and Open Beta, and the North American (NA) and the European (EU) version. Aeria Games is running the NA version and GameTribe the EU one. I went to the aeria's website to download the client, since I got the invitation from them and I was registered because of Last Chaos. When you go to their download page, they send you to a few different places to download. I went to mmosite.com where you can find 2 different versions of DOMO, one says closed beta, and the other one that says US. First I tried to download the US client but didnt work, so somehow I ended downloading the Closed Beta, that is actually for the European Version. So, ignoring this, and since I got the invited from aeria, I tried to log in a few times getting the error problem. After asking in the shoutbox from aeria for a while, some moderator sends me to Tribal Game (¿?) to make an account there, because they run the european version. Tribal Game was actually GameTribe (the people from one site does not know about the people from the other site, but both are running the same game... I guess that helps to get the people confused, because there were actually a lot of people asking for help in aeria's site). I made an account there and I tried to loggin with my new ID from GameTribe.... Same error. I go back to the website and I go to the forum. Someone seems to have the same problem than me. The answer from the moderator is "go and check aeria's site". Obviously that was not the problem because I just came from there, so I check my profile in GameTribe properly... to find out that what I got from GameTribe was a Closed Beta (what means waiting for the approval).
So, my question is: why do I get the invitation from Aeria for a beta that GameTribe is running? Why Aeria Games and Game Tribe are running the same game but different versions, and they dont bother to give proper information about the other version for all these people like me, that get lost with so many forward links to get the client?....

Oh well.... Now I just finished downloading the client for the NA version. Let's see how the game looks like, so... TO BE CONTINUED....
